Eric Richter

Eric Richter has extensive work experience in operations and logistics management. Eric worked at FST Logistics since 2016, where they held various roles including Director of Facilities, Safety, and Compliance, Operations and Compliance Manager, and Assistant Operations Manager. In these roles, they were responsible for overseeing food safety, warehouse safety, training, and facilities management for multiple warehouses. Eric also managed staffing, cost analysis, and profitability improvement. Prior to FST Logistics, Eric worked as an Outbound Distribution Center Manager at Volvo Group Trucks Operations and as Director of Operations at RobotWorx. Eric began their career at DecisionOne in 1998, where they held various positions including Director of Operations, Operations Manager, Technical Team Manager, and Lead/Senior Technician. At DecisionOne, they were responsible for operations, inventory management, and financial analysis. Before that, Eric worked at General Diagnostics Inc. as a Procurement Specialist, where they handled procurement and inventory of electronic components and trained technicians.

Eric Richter attended The Ohio State University from 1989 to 1992, where they studied Electrical Engineering. Eric then attended Columbus State Community College from 1992 to 1993, focusing on Electronic Engineering Technology. In 2003 to 2004, Eric attended the University of Phoenix and studied Business Administration and Management. Additionally, they obtained various certifications throughout the years, including Hazmat Certified DOT 49 CFR 172.704 in April 2015, IPC-7721& IPC-7711 Rework, Repair, & Modification of Printed Boards & Electronic Assemblies in June 2004, and CompTIA A+ in 2000. Most recently, Eric obtained certifications in Preventative Controls for Human Food (PCQI) in 2017, Seafood Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) in 2019, and Intentional Adulteration Food Defense Plan Preparation and Reanalysis in 2020.
