Corinne Mitchell serves as the Vice President of Environment, Health, Safety, and Security at Commonwealth Fusion Systems, leading comprehensive programs in these areas since December 2020. Previously, Corinne held roles at Harvard University as the Director of Laboratory and Radiation Safety and Associate Director - Radiation Safety, where responsibilities included overseeing safety programs across over 400 laboratories. Corinne also contributed to education through faculty roles at Harvard School of Public Health and served as a Senior Health Physicist at Yale University and Thermo Fisher Scientific. Corinne's early career included significant experience at the University of Massachusetts Lowell Radiation Laboratory as a Senior Reactor Operator. Corinne holds a Master’s degree in Radiological Sciences and Protection and a Bachelor’s degree in Physics, along with a CORe Credential from Harvard Business School Online.
