Paul Abbate

Paul Abbate is a seasoned professional in law enforcement and consulting, currently serving as a Senior Managing Director at FTI Consulting since September 2025. Prior to this role, Paul Abbate had a distinguished career at the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) spanning nearly three decades from March 1996 to January 2025, where significant positions included Deputy Director, Associate Deputy Director (Chief Operating Officer), and Executive Assistant Director overseeing the Criminal, Cyber, Response, and Services Branch. Additional leadership roles included responsibility as Assistant Director in Charge of the FBI Washington Field Office, Special Agent in Charge in both the Detroit Field Office and the Counterterrorism Division, and Section Chief of the Counterterrorism Division. Paul Abbate holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Connecticut School of Law and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Quinnipiac University.
