David Stamatis

David Stamatis is a seasoned professional in the field of architecture and design, currently serving as a Founding Partner at FTR since January 2021 and as Founder and Creative Director at DeepObjects.ai since October 2022. Prior experience includes various roles at Optimist Inc. from June 2013 to January 2021, culminating in the position of VP Creative Director. David holds a Master of Architecture (MArch II) in Interdisciplinary Design from UCLA, where accolades included the UCLA AUD Graduate Departmental Fellowship and the AIA 2x8 Award. Earlier in the professional journey, positions included Design Director at Trahan Architects and Senior Designer at Tom Wiscombe Design, among others. David completed a Bachelor of Architecture from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo in 2009.
