Yan Yan

Yan Yan, PhD, CFA, is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in index research and design. Currently serving as the Head of Index Research & Design for APAC and previously as the Head of Equity Index Research for the Americas at FTSE Russell since July 2010, Yan has developed expertise in financial markets and quantitative analysis. Prior experience includes a role as a Quantitative Analyst at Nomura and a Research Assistant at the Utah Center for Advanced Imaging Research. Yan holds a Master’s degree in Financial Engineering from UCLA Anderson School of Management and a PhD in Medical Physics from the University of Utah, complemented by a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Physics from Southeast University.
