Will Yao

Will Yao serves as an Advisory Committee Member for the Department of Computer Science at Fu Jen Catholic University since August 2021. Since December 2010, Will Yao has been a Senior Software Engineering Manager at IBM, leading the IBM Security Taipei engineering team in various security domains. Prior experiences include roles as QA Lead at Cisco from January 2007 to December 2010, where Will Yao managed quality assurance for security technology services, and as QA Lead at Trend Micro from February 2005 to January 2007, overseeing enterprise-level anti-spam solutions. Will Yao began the career at Trend Micro as a Quality Assurance Engineer for broadband gateway protection from May 2002 to July 2003. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Computer Science from The University of Texas at Dallas and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Fu Jen Catholic University, with additional education at the University of California, Berkeley.
