Joshua Oakes is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in both architectural design and team leadership across various organizations. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Fuel Talent since April 2023, Joshua previously held the role of Software Architect & Principal Software Engineer at Consumer Cellular, where leadership in project execution and hands-on involvement as a developer were key responsibilities. Prior to that, Joshua was a Technical Team Lead at AltSource, responsible for collaborating with clients on new initiatives, while earlier positions included senior software engineering roles at PNI Digital Media, The System Works Group, and X-Coders. With a background that began as a Junior Software Engineer at Global-Roam and a Technical Content Author at Red Hat, Joshua holds Bachelor’s degrees in Information Technology from The University of Queensland and Music from Griffith University.
