Emilio is Fuel Venture Capital’s Middle East executive and partner, has more than 20+ years’ experience in private equity and venture capital, much of it gleaned through work in Middle Eastern (Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, UAE and Kuwait). As an expert fundraiser deeply steeped in Middle Eastern culture and well-connected across the region, Emilio is in charge of expanding Fuel Venture Capital’s global footprint and network of Limited Partners beyond the Western world into Western Asia.

Emilio has also served as Head of Investments for Bahrain Development Bank, the government bank for The Kingdom of Bahrain, launching the Investment Division (PE and VC) and promoting private equity initiatives for SMEs, startups, and funds of funds. Emilio was an Investment Director at Diana Capital where he managed a Private Equity Fund (Diana Capital I), with LPs such as saving banks, local banks, insurance companies and international financial institutions with total AUM of EUR70.2Mn, and an Investment Director at EBN Bank, where he managed three different Private Equity Funds with total AUM of EUR200Mn.
