Michael Riddell

Michael Riddell has over 30 years of work experience in various engineering and leadership roles. Michael is currently serving as the SVP of Engineering at WePower Technologies since April 2020. Previously, they held the position of VP Engineering and Chief Engineer at FuelCell Energy from September 2010. In this role, they managed a department budget of $20M and led a team of over 75 engineering professionals. Prior to that, they worked as the Engineering Manager/Chief Engineer at Gems Sensors, a subsidiary of Danaher Corporation, from April 2005 to September 2010. Michael also worked as a Program Manager/Engineering Specialist at TI Automotive from September 2002 to March 2005, where they specialized in high-reliability automotive designs. Michael started their career at various subsidiaries of Philips North America and later VDO North America, where they gained 11 years of technical experience.

Michael Riddell holds an MBA in Management from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, as well as an MSEE in Electrical Engineering from the same institution. Michael also earned a BSEE in Electrical Engineering from the University of Connecticut.
