Ramakrishnan Venkataraman

Ramakrishnan Venkataraman has extensive work experience in the field of fuel cell technology. Ramakrishnan started their career in 2001 at Energy Partners as a Research Specialist. In 2002, they joined Fuel Cell Energy as a Test Engineer, later progressing to the role of Supervisor, Subscale Operations in 2003. Ramakrishnan then became the Manager of Modeling & Analysis in 2005 and subsequently transitioned to the position of Sr. Manager, DFC Technology & Testing in 2008. Currently, they serve as the VP of DFC Technology at Fuel Cell Energy, where they lead development efforts in Direct Fuel Cells to improve fuel cell performance and lifespan.

Ramakrishnan Venkataraman completed their B.Tech in Electrochemical Engineering at the Central Electrochemical Research Institute, Karaikudi from 1990 to 1994. Ramakrishnan then pursued an MS in Chemical Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras from 1994 to 1996. Ramakrishnan further obtained a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Connecticut from 1996 to 2000.
