Arnoud Jongsma

Arnoud Jongsma has had a diverse and extensive work experience. Arnoud started their career as an Electronics Engineer at Intersite Surveys BV in 1982 before moving to Oceonics Intersite BV as a Technical Support Engineer in 1983. In 1988, they joined Hydrotrain j.v. as a Survey Electronics Expert. In 1992, they returned to Oceonics Intersite BV, this time as an Electronics Engineer. In 1997, they became the Managing Director at Fugro Intersite BV, a position they held until December 2018. During this time, they also served as the R&D Center Manager Survey Division - Europe at Fugro from 2014 to 2017. Arnoud then transitioned to the role of Chief Scientist at Fugro in January 2018, where they focused on developing innovative technological solutions for various markets such as Oil and Gas, Renewable Energy, Civil Infrastructure, and Building.

Arnoud Jongsma earned a BSc in Electrical Engineering from Windesheim from 1978 to 1982. Prior to that, from 1972 to 1978, they attended Christelijk College Groevenbeek and obtained their VWO degree.
