Matthijs Van Os currently serves as Project Engineering Fleet Development at Fugro since November 2022 and has been the Owner of FROMOX Services since June 2015. Prior experience includes roles such as Project EI&A Vlootvervanging at NIOZ Royal Netherlands Institute for Sea Research from September 2020 to February 2024, E&I Engineer at Neptune Energy from September 2019 to August 2020, and Electrical Supervisor Newbuilding at Acta Marine from July 2017 to June 2019. Matthijs also worked as a Commissioning Engineer at Damen Schelde Naval Shipbuilding from January 2016 to May 2017 and as an Electrical Engineer at Acta Marine for a brief period in late 2015. Matthijs began a career in 2008 as a Plant Engineer, ETO at Boskalis Westminster, following a Bachelor of Applied Science in Electrical Engineering from Hogeschool Rotterdam, completed in 2008.
