Wilco Vijverberg

Wilco Vijverberg is a seasoned maritime engineer with extensive experience in various roles across prominent companies in the marine industry. Currently serving as Chief Engineer on the Fugro Zephyr, Wilco is involved in the conversion of a PSV into a Geotec drillship. Previously, at Jan De Nul Group, roles included 1st Deck Engineer and 1st Engineer in the offshore division, managing complex hydraulic systems and maintaining critical equipment. Wilco's earlier career includes significant positions at John T. Essberger GmbH & Co KG, where responsibilities ranged from Chief Engineer on chemical tankers to Second Engineer, overseeing machinery operations and maintenance. Additional experience includes roles at Feederlines and Spliethoff. Wilco holds a Bachelor's degree in Maritime Officer from HZ University of Applied Sciences and an MBO degree in Maritime Officer from ROC Zeeland.
