Mac Thompson

Mac Thompson is an experienced entrepreneur and leader with a diverse background in technology and military sectors. As Co-Founder of Fugu since February 2024, Mac has previously served as COO and Co-Founder of Sun Cable from September 2018 to March 2024, and as CEO and Founder of CloudRecover, the largest online cloud server backup company in Australia, completing the sale to J2Global in 2018. Mac's earlier roles include General Manager of Sales & Account Management at Iron Mountain Australia Pty Ltd, and CEO & Founder of DigiGuard, a specialist in off-site data storage. Additional experience encompasses a General Manager position at Securimax Islands Security and a decade of military service in the Australian Army. Mac holds a BA in International Politics & South East Asian History from UNSW Canberra and an Associate's Degree in Human Resources Management from Monash University.
