Mark Rendall is an experienced professional in biotechnology and biopharmaceuticals, currently serving as Associate Director of Mammalian Upstream Process Development at FUJIFILM Diosynth Biotechnologies since July 2015. Prior experience includes leadership roles at Actavis Biologics Ltd and Lonza Biologics, where responsibilities encompassed upstream development, cell culture optimization, and process characterization for recombinant biopharmaceuticals. Earlier roles included a position as Fermentation Scientist at British Biotech and Purification Scientist at Celltech Biologics. Mark holds a PhD in Biochemical Engineering from University College London, an MSc in Biochemical Engineering from UCL, and a BSc (Hons) in Microbiology from the University of Edinburgh.
