Sarah Karlgaard

Sarah Karlgaard is an accomplished legal professional currently serving as General Counsel and Secretary at FUJIFILM Holdings America Corporation since August 2022. Previously, Sarah held the position of General Counsel at Canon Medical Informatics from August 2019 to August 2022, and served as Senior Associate General Counsel at Allina Health from March 2014 to July 2019. Sarah's expertise encompasses health care, technology, and strategic legal issues, with a strong focus on Privacy and Security Law, HIPAA, and complex corporate transactions. Additional roles include Interim Chief Privacy Officer and Privacy Counsel at Optum, as well as Associate General Counsel at OptumInsight.
