Ellen Hebron

Manager, Manufacturing Science and Technology at FUJIFILM Cellular Dynamics

Ellen Hebron has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Ellen began their career as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at UW-Madison Anatomy Dept. from May 2008 to May 2010.

Ellen then joined the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where they held the role of Associate Research Specialist from July 2010 to January 2013. During this time, they managed day-to-day laboratory operations and conducted original research in studying Multiple Myeloma. Their responsibilities included mouse colony management, lab ordering and stocking, PCR, and cell culture.

Following their role as an Associate Research Specialist, Ellen took on the position of Research Specialist at the University of Wisconsin-Madison from January 2013 to September 2014. In this role, they managed a small, dynamic research group studying Multiple Myeloma. Their tasks involved overseeing the lab's mouse colony, maintaining records, and providing support to graduate students in their experiments. Ellen also gained experience in various laboratory techniques such as cell culture, animal dissection, western blotting, immunohistochemistry, flow cytometry, and MACS sorting.

In 2014, Ellen joined FUJIFILM Cellular Dynamics as a Research Specialist. In this position, they contributed to the organization's scientific research initiatives until June 2020. Their responsibilities included utilizing their expertise in cell culture, animal dissection, western blotting, immunohistochemistry, flow cytometry, and MACS sorting to further the company's research goals.

Ellen then transitioned to the role of Process Engineer at FUJIFILM Cellular Dynamics from June 2020 to June 2023. During this time, they focused on optimizing manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and quality.

Currently, Ellen holds the position of Manager, Manufacturing Science and Technology at FUJIFILM Cellular Dynamics, starting in April 2023. In this role, they are responsible for overseeing the manufacturing science and technology department, likely continuing to contribute to process optimization and ensuring the smooth operations of the manufacturing team.

Ellen Hebron obtained a Bachelor's degree in Genetics and German from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where they studied from 2006 to 2010.
