Ravi Vaidyanathan has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Ravi currently works as a Senior Product Manager - Cardiovascular at FUJIFILM Cellular Dynamics since October 2021. Prior to that, they served as a Product Manager - Cardiac at the same company from December 2019 to October 2021.

Before joining FUJIFILM Cellular Dynamics, Ravi held various roles at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Ravi started as a Biomedical Trainee Engineer at Brihamumbai Municipal Corporation (B.M.C) in 1999, followed by positions as a Sales and Service Engineer at M/s Allwin Life care from September 2001 to February 2002, and as a Customer Support Engineer at M/s Choksi Brothers Pvt LTD from February 2002 to August 2002.

Ravi'scareer in the field of cardiovascular research began at the Institute for Cardiovascular Research, where they worked as a Project Aide from August 2003 to August 2004. Ravi then joined the Center for Arrhythmia Research as a Research Fellow from March 2008 to March 2011, gaining expertise in the ionic bases of action potential in isolated mouse cardiac Purkinje cells.

Ravi continued their research work as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Michigan from August 2010 to March 2011, focusing on the reciprocal modulation of Kir2.x/Nav1.5 channels in a macromolecular complex.

At the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Ravi held two roles. From March 2011 to December 2015, they worked as a Research Associate and Assistant Scientist, where they identified and characterized the molecular interactions and functional consequences of the association between Caveolin3 and Kir2.x channels, as well as the regulation of cardiac sodium channels (Nav1.5). Subsequently, they served as an Associate Scientist from January 2016 to December 2019, where they developed an improved cardiomyocyte model to investigate inherited arrhythmia syndromes.

Throughout their career, Ravi has demonstrated a strong focus on cardiovascular research and product management, making valuable contributions to their respective fields of expertise.

Ravi Vaidyanathan has a diverse education history that spans over several institutions and fields of study. Ravi began their educational journey at General Education Academy, from 1985 to 1995, where they completed their general education. Following this, Vaidyanathan enrolled at K.J. Somaiya College of Science and Technology, starting in 1995 and ending in 1997, where they obtained their HSC qualification with a focus on Science.

In 1997, Vaidyanathan continued their studies in the field of Engineering by attending M.G.M Institute of Technology until 2001. Here, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering. Concurrently, from 1997 to 2001, Vaidyanathan also attended Mahatma Gandhi Mission's College of Engineering and Technology, where they earned a B.E. degree in the same field.

With a strong foundation in Engineering, Vaidyanathan pursued further specialization by attending Syracuse University from 2002 to 2004. During this period, they obtained a Master's degree in Engineering, specifically focusing on the field of Bioengineering. Building on their Engineering background, Vaidyanathan later attended State University of New York Upstate Medical University from 2004 to 2010, where they achieved a Ph.D. in Pharmacology.

Overall, Ravi Vaidyanathan's education history showcases their progression from a general education background to specialized degrees in the fields of Biomedical Engineering, Bioengineering, and Pharmacology.
