Carlos Bistafa holds a PhD in Physics from the Institute of Physics at the University of São Paulo, along with a BSc and MSc from the same institution. After completing their doctoral studies in 2015, Carlos worked as a postdoctoral fellow at Nagoya University from 2016 to 2019, followed by a specially appointed researcher position at Osaka University until 2024. Currently, Carlos serves as a principal researcher in quantum computing at Fujitsu, focusing on developing new applications for the industry. Fluent in multiple languages, Carlos is dedicated to fostering international collaboration and cultural integration, particularly between Japan and the West.
