Kevin Osborn

Kevin Osborn has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Kevin is currently a Staff Software Engineer at Fulcrum, starting in 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Sunrun as a Staff Software Engineer, starting in 2020 and ending in 2021. In this role, they were the technical lead for vendor data ingestion and grid services enrollment projects and also served as a senior engineer, advocating for better work processes and mentoring other developers.

Before Sunrun, Kevin held multiple roles at PGi. From 2018 to 2020, they were a Software Engineering Manager, leading a team in developing and maintaining backend services. From 2015 to 2018, they were a Lead Software Engineer, responsible for designing and implementing services such as authentication and search. Prior to that, from 2014 to 2015, they were a Senior Software Engineer, creating an API platform and handling Solr configurations and indexes.

Further back in Kevin's career, they were a Lead Software Engineer at CBS Interactive from 2011 to 2014. Here, they led a team in managing Solr infrastructure and mapping customer catalogs. Before that, they were a Senior Software Engineer from 2009 to 2011 and a Technical Consultant from 2006 to 2009 at CBS Interactive.

Prior to CBS Interactive, Kevin worked as a Consultant specializing in Java and .NET projects at Tallan from 2004 to 2006. Kevin also worked as a Trader at Bright Trading from 2003 to 2004, where they passed the NASD Series 7 exam and traded stocks on their own accounts.

Kevin started their career as a Senior Consultant at Beacon Consulting from 2001 to 2003. Kevin then became the Chief Architect at Eze Castle Communications from 2000 to 2001 and a Software Engineer at Eze Castle Software from 1998 to 1999.

Kevin Osborn attended Boston College from 1994 to 1998, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science. Kevin also received additional certifications in Fulcrum Web Foundations and Fulcrum Web Intermediate in June 2022 from Fulcrum institution.
