Carin Marcy Barth

Carin joined Fulcrum's board of directors in December 2020 and serves as Chair of the Audit Committee. Carin brings more than 30 years of finance experience, deep energy industry expertise and extensive public company board and audit committee experience. Carin is currently President of LB Capital, Inc., a private equity company with principal investments in the energy, manufacturing and financial sectors. She serves as Audit Committee Chair on the board of directors for Black Stone Minerals, L.P. and Group 1 Automotive, Inc. Her board experience over the last two decades includes serving on the board of nearly 20 companies -- both for-profit and nonprofit. Carin has also served in various government roles, such as Commissioner for the Texas Department of Public Safety and a board member of the Texas Public Finance Authority. In 2006-2007, Carin served as Interim Senior Vice President of Business and Finance at Texas Southern University. In 2004, Carin was appointed by President George W. Bush as the Chief Financial Officer for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. She holds a B.S. (Summa Cum Laude) from the University of Alabama and an M.B.A. from the Owen Graduate School of Management at Vanderbilt University.
