Mujinga Mwamufiya has a long history of working in the energy industry. Mujinga began their career in 1998 as a Process Engineer at Sunoco. In 2000, they moved to GE where they worked as a Six Sigma Black Belt (Internal Consultant) in the Supply Chain/Logistics department. In 2004, they joined AES, where they held the roles of Director, Projects, Engineering & Construction Group, Senior Project Manager, and Associate, Global Development. In 2015, they moved to Smart Wires Inc. as Senior Project Manager, Operations. Finally, in 2017, they joined Fulcrum BioEnergy, Inc. as Director of Business Development.
Mujinga Mwamufiya attended St. Croix des Neiges from 1992 to 1994, where they earned a French Baccalaureate with Honors in Mathematics and Physics. Mujinga then attended Princeton University from 1994 to 1998, where they earned a BSE in Chemical Engineering. Finally, they attended Georgetown University McDonough School of Business from 2002 to 2004, where they earned an MBA in International Business.
