Paul McGuirk

Paul McGuirk is currently the Engineering Director at Fulcrum. Prior to that, they were a Senior Software Developer Team Lead at Epic from October 2014 to December 2018. Paul has also worked as a Postdoctoral Associate at Cornell University from August 2011 to September 2014, where they were responsible for collaboration with other researchers, management of a team of graduate students, organization of weekly seminars and meetings, publication of research, and presentation of research at international conferences. Paul also designed and taught a graduate-level course in physics. From September 2006 to August 2011, they were a Research Assistant at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where they developed specialized software for research applications, collaborated internationally, mentored undergraduate students, and published and presented their research.

Paul McGuirk has a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Physics and Mathematics from the University of California, Berkeley. Paul also has certification from The Data Incubator in Program Graduate.
