Jonathan Roman, PE

Jonathan Roman, PE has over 20 years of experience in various engineering roles. Jonathan recently worked at Fulfil as a Senior New Product Introduction Engineer and Project Manager, where they assisted in the development, testing, and transfer of knowledge of prototype automation electro-mechanical equipment to production. Jonathan also managed contractors for installation and assisted in data science. Prior to that, they were a Project Manager/Resident Engineer at VSCE, INC., overseeing the construction and system integration of a Traffic Management System in the Port of Oakland. Jonathan has also worked as a Project Manager at the Port of San Francisco, managing design, budget, and communication for various projects including the Mission Bay Ferry Landing Project. Earlier in their career, Jonathan served as a Project Manager/Lead Engineer at ConneXsys Engineering, where they led projects to upgrade equipment at a shipping wharf and aviation fuel blending facility. Jonathan also worked as a Manufacturing Engineer at Velocity11, where they facilitated the transfer of engineering designs to manufacturing for bio-medical automation machinery. Jonathan began their career as a Design Engineer at Berkeley Process Control, involved in the development of motion control products for various industries.

Jonathan Roman, PE obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Mechanical and Materials Engineering from Vanderbilt University. Additionally, they hold certifications as a Professional Engineer in Civil Engineering and Mechanical Engineering, which were obtained from the California-Licensed Professional Engineers, Land Surveyors, Geologists, and Geophysicists. Furthermore, Jonathan obtained a certification in Machine Learning from Coursera Course Certificates.
