Michael Connerton

Michael Connerton is a mechatronics engineer who has extensive work experience in various engineering roles. Michael joined Fulfil in 2019 and was part of a small team that developed autonomous mobile robotics platforms for an automated grocery fulfilment warehouse. Michael was the lead mechanical designer for a smaller robot responsible for order collection and also worked as a secondary designer on a larger robot responsible for reshuffling inventory.

Prior to their role at Fulfil, Michael worked at Case Western Reserve University from 2015 to 2019. During their time there, they were involved in research and development of a lower body exoskeleton for individuals with lower spinal cord injuries. Michael utilized their mechanical engineering background to design and build a power unit to actuate the joints of the exoskeleton.
