Ara R.

Ara R. has extensive work experience in sales, business development, and management roles in the field of genetics and biotechnology. They started their career as a Graduate Student at the University of Melbourne in 2000 and went on to work as a Research Engineer at Pyrosequencing AB. They then joined Uppsala University as a PhD candidate. In 2004, Ara R. became an Account Manager at Fermentas Sweden aB and later held the same role at the company again in 2008. From 2009 to 2011, they served as the Nordic Sales Development Manager at DiscoveRx. In 2012, Ara R. transitioned into a Laboratory Manager position at Karolinska Institution. They then joined Sophia Genetics in 2016 as a Sales Business Development Manager for the Nordics. In 2017, they became the Regional Manager at Centogene AG, covering Northern Europe. Most recently, in 2020, Ara R. took on the role of Director of Sales & Business Development for Europe & Turkey at Fulgent Genetics.

Ara R. completed a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Kemiteknik inriktning Läkemedelsteknik from KTH Royal Institute of Technology in 1999. They also pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Harvard Business School, although the start year and end year for this degree are unknown.
