Nicole LaPlante has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Nicole is currently working as the Senior Director of Project Management and Companion Diagnostics at Fulgent Genetics, where they efficiently direct and supervises project management and data management functions. Nicole also spearheads various research and clinical trials projects. Before joining Fulgent Genetics, Nicole worked at NeoGenomics Laboratories, where they held multiple roles including Director of Project Management and Associate Director of Project Management. In these positions, they provided strategic leadership, oversaw project assignments, and collaborated with the finance department. Prior to that, they worked at GE Healthcare as a Project Manager, where they managed MultiOmyx projects for pharma sponsors and advocated for the adoption of MultiOmyx technology. Additionally, Nicole has experience as a Lead Scientist at General Electric, where they contributed to various projects involving contrast agent development and companion diagnostics. Nicole also worked as a Neuroscience Technician at Albany Medical College and as a Technician at Clinical Pathology Laboratories.
Nicole LaPlante earned their BA degree in Biology from Hartwick College between 1995 and 1999. Nicole also has additional certifications in Capella Applied Leadership Series from Capella University and Lean Six Sigma Green Belt from GE.
