Nachiket Patil

Nachiket Patil has been working in the software engineering field since 2014. Nachiket began as Co-Founder and Inventor at 3DSIM LLC in 2014, where they also held the roles of Director of Research and Development in Geometry, Mesh and FEA constructs and Senior Research Engineer. 3DSIM LLC was acquired by ANSYS in November 2017. In 2017, they moved to Velo3D as a Senior Simulation Engineer. In 2018, they began working at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory as a Postdoctoral Researcher. In 2020, they joined ZVerse, Inc. as a Computational Geometry Developer. Most recently, in 2021, they began working at Full Speed Automation as a Senior Software Engineer.

Nachiket Patil completed a B.E. in Civil Engineering from Indian Technical Jobs in 2003-2006. Nachiket then earned an M.Tech. in Structural Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay in 2006-2008. Finally, they obtained a PhD in Industrial Engineering from the University of Louisville in 2011-2014.
