Karen Twomey

Karen Twomey is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in management and mental health services. Currently serving as a Senior Manager at FullscopeRMS since October 2021, Karen previously held the role of Team Lead at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois, Montana, New Mexico, Oklahoma & Texas from November 2019 to January 2022. Karen spent a decade at Unum as a Senior Disability Benefits Specialist, where responsibilities included adjudicating Short Term Disability claims and collaborating with partners for accurate claim processing. Earlier roles included Mental Health Counselor at Arch Health Medical Group, where assessments and counseling were provided to inmates, and Criminal Justice Manager at NAMI, overseeing crisis intervention teams and training first responders. Additionally, Karen served as a Mental Health Liaison for the Portland Maine Police Department, focusing on crisis assessments for individuals with severe mental illnesses. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Human Relations from Husson University and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of New Hampshire.
