Gerrit Tamboer

Gerrit Tamboer has extensive work experience in various roles within the IT industry. Gerrit is currently the CEO of Fullstaq, a fast-growing cloud-native IT services company that specializes in helping both start-ups and enterprises with their Kubernetes ambitions. Prior to this, they served as the CEO of Beyond Blue, an Azure-focused IT service company in the Netherlands. Gerrit also worked as a Freelance DevOps Engineer for BALR., where they handled tasks such as migrating and maintaining infrastructure on the Amazon cloud and utilizing tools like Puppet and NewRelic. Gerrit has also held freelance roles as a Senior System Engineer at CRV, a Linux Engineer at Gerrit Tamboer | ICT Specialist, and a Senior DevOps Engineer at Mindcurv. Additionally, Gerrit has worked as a DevOps Engineer at Beslist.nl and as a System Engineer at bol.com. Gerrit started their career as a MySQL DBA/Software Integrator at TenneT and as a Middleware Engineer at an undisclosed eCommerce company. Gerrit has demonstrated expertise in cloud architecture, AWS, CI/CD, Puppet, Chef, and various other technologies.

Gerrit Tamboer completed their MBO degree in ICT System Administrator from Titus College, ROCA12, between 2007 and 2009. Gerrit then pursued an HBO degree in Software Development at NCOI from 2011 to 2012. In addition to their formal education, they obtained certifications such as AWS Certified SysOps Administrator - Associate from Amazon Web Services in 2016 and M102: MongoDB for DBA's from MongoDB in 2014. Gerrit also holds certifications from EXIN, Linux Professional Institute, Novell, and Oracle in various IT-related fields.
