Bárbara Vicente Sarmiento

Bárbara Vicente Sarmiento has extensive experience in educational and employment initiatives, currently serving as the Director of Operations and Director of PFAE at Fundación Universitaria de Las Palmas since 2007. In these roles, Bárbara manages job offers, internships, and conducts competency-based interviews, while also overseeing the Emplea +35 project aimed at enhancing employment skills for individuals aged 35 to 50. As the creator and director of the Emplea Experiencia program, Bárbara focuses on the reintegration of seasoned professionals into the workforce. Additional contributions include leading the Imagen y Mujer Positiva project, which supports women overcoming challenges related to violence and addiction, and past experience in pedagogical roles and labor orientation programs. Bárbara holds degrees in Pedagogy and Human Resources from the Universidad de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and Universidad de La Laguna.
