Brigitte Bailey has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Brigitte began their career in 1990 as a Financial Services Representative at Citibank (Banamex USA), where they worked until 1992. In 1992, they joined The Northern Trust Company as a Personal Trust Fee Administrator. Their time at The Northern Trust Company was short-lived, as they transitioned to SunTrust Bank in 1993. At SunTrust Bank, they held the role of Trust Officer in the Trust and Investment Management department until 1998.
In 1998, Brigitte started working at Fulton County Government as an Administrative Coordinator in the Office of the Clerk to the Commission. Brigitte held this position until 2000, when they were promoted to Project Administrator/Project Officer in the Chairman's Office, overseeing the Ryan White AIDS Grant Program. In 2001, they became a Community Research Officer in the Human Services Department, and in 2004, they were further promoted to Assistant Administrative Chief in the Registration and Elections division. Their significant contributions resulted in their appointment as Audit Administrator in the Office of Internal Audit in 2012. Finally, Brigitte currently serves as the Director of Customer Experience and Solutions at Fulton County Government.
Brigitte Bailey obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Spelman College in the years 1986-1990. Later, they pursued a Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree with a concentration in Public Management from Central Michigan University, completing their studies from 2012 to 2014. Brigitte Bailey also obtained a Certified Public Manager certification from the University of Georgia - Carl Vinson Institute in 2017 and is currently pursuing a Customer Experience Certificate Program at Georgia Southern University, expected to be completed in 2023.
