Samantha Brown-Parks

Samantha Brown-Parks, MD, MPH, currently serves as the Chairman of the Fulton County Board of Commissioners' Veterans Empowerment Commission as of December 2023 and is a candidate for the Georgia General Assembly House Of Representatives, representing State House District 54, since October 2023. With extensive experience in medical consulting, Samantha has been a Medical Consultant at Dr. Sam Healthcare Consulting since June 2014 and previously worked as a Physician at Nurx from May 2021 to November 2023. Additional roles include serving as a Television Series Medical Consultant for MGM's Personal Injury Court from March 2019 to March 2021. Educational background includes an MD from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine (1997), an MPH and a residency in Family & Preventive Medicine from Emory University School of Medicine (2002, 2004), and an Associate of Arts degree in City/Urban, Community and Regional Planning from the University of Florida (1991). Prior military service includes serving as a General Medical Officer in the U.S. Army from 1997 to 2000, along with various physician roles at Emory University from 2000 to 2014.
