Joel Mackay is a seasoned safety advisor and traffic specialist with extensive experience in quality, safety, and environmental (QSE) management within the construction and traffic management sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Safety Advisor and Traffic Specialist at Fulton Hogan since January 2019, Joel provides QSE and traffic management support on the Southern Network Contract. Previous roles include QSE (Traffic) Advisor and Safety & Environmental Advisor at Fulton Hogan, where responsibilities involved conducting traffic audits, ensuring legislative compliance, and promoting a strong safety culture. Joel's earlier experience encompasses leadership in traffic management at Traffic Force and Downer, where site traffic management and safety assessment were key functions. Educational qualifications include a Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety and a Postgraduate Diploma in Environmental Science, complemented by various certifications in traffic management and safety training.
