Alex Najem

In 2017, Alex founded Fulton Street Companies. Under his direction, the company has evolved from a small startup into a dynamic real-estate development company, specializing in an array of real estate projects from single tenant retail buildings to 500k square foot office buildings.

Alex’s leadership has made Fulton Street Companies a pioneer in the Fulton Market neighborhood of Chicago, specifically within the historic district. He was the first to bring well-known brand names to Fulton Market, including Glossier and Louis Vuitton, which helped propel Fulton Market into a high-end shopping district that has garnered notoriety as “the place to be” market within the United States.

Current high-profile development and re-development projects in Fulton Market completed by FSC under Alex’s leadership include Midwest corporate headquarters for Herman Miller, the fist Café Maman/Paper Source experiential store, entitlements for the first and largest multifamily development, as well as two of the largest office developments within the Fulton Market historic district. Under Alex’s leadership FSC has secured large investments from well-known family offices, institutional investors, and high-net-worth individuals.
