Rob Simmonds has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. Rob started their career as a Summer Camp Counselor at B'nai B'rith Beber Camp in 2007, where they worked until 2009. Rob then worked as a Teaching Assistant in various schools from 2008 to 2011, supporting teachers in delivering lessons and providing additional support to students. From 2011 to 2013, they worked as a Project Manager and Administrative Executive at mayence, a Print Management company, where they handled administrative tasks and project management for clients such as GlaxoSmithKline and Cuisine de France. In 2014, Rob joined Fulwell 73 Productions as the Head of Finance, where they oversaw and managed the Finance function, designed operational processes, and supported the business during M&A activities. In November 2020, they transitioned to the role of Head of Finance Transformation at the same company, where they focused on building, developing, and improving financial processes, systems, and capabilities, as well as managing large scale projects and facilitating knowledge transfer between UK and US offices.

Rob Simmonds attended Watford Grammar School for Boys, but no degree or field of study was specified.

After completing their secondary education, they enrolled at the University of Birmingham in 2005 to pursue a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Sport and Exercise Science. Rob studied at the university until 2008.

Rob then proceeded to further their education at the University of Portsmouth in 2009, where they pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Sports Performance. Rob completed this program in 2010.

In addition to their academic studies, Rob also obtained a Certificate in Business Accounting from CIMA, although the dates of their enrollment were not provided.
