Gilles du SORDET

Gilles du SORDET has extensive work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Gilles co-founded FunCell in 2019, where they hold the position of Co-founder - Associate. FunCell specializes in developing additives for reinforcing and functionalizing cellulosic materials.

Prior to that, Gilles worked at Conseil en Entreprise from 2016 onwards as a Conseil auprès de Direction Générale, providing advice to the management team.

From 2012 to 2016, Gilles served as VP Finance Altatech BU at SOITEC, a semiconductor company. Gilles was responsible for financial matters related to the Altatech BU.

Gilles was also a co-founder at Altatech Semiconductor, where they held the position of VP Finance and HR from 2004 to 2012.

Before that, they worked as CFO (part-time) at Bioprofile from 2004 to 2006 and as CFO at Teem Photonics from 2001 to 2004.

Gilles began their career at Schneider Electric in 1986, where they held various roles including DAF Europe MGE UPS Systems from 1996 to 2000 and Controleur de Gestion from 1986 to 1996.

Gilles du SORDET has a diverse education background. In 1982, they attended ESCE International Business School but did not complete a specific degree or field of study there. In 1986, they enrolled at Université Lumière Lyon 2 and earned a DESS in Logistics, indicating their specialization in this area.
