Nikita Patel

Nikita Patel serves as the Director of Clinical Research and AI at Function Health and as a Consultant Medical Content Writer since June 2023. In addition, Nikita holds the role of Consultant Software Engineer, Data Scientist, and Python Developer, along with the position of Director of Data Science and AI at Brightly Network, also starting in June 2023. Prior experience includes working as a Consultant Python Developer at BluPrint Oncology from February 2023 to June 2023, and as a Senior Scientist/Engineer at Mission Bio from May 2021 to January 2023. Nikita began a career in research and engineering at Fluidigm Corporation as a Scientist/Engineer II from September 2019 to May 2021 and completed a PKDM Postdoctoral Fellowship at Amgen from January 2016 to August 2019. Academic achievements include a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from the University of Houston and an MPharm in Pharmacy from the University of East Anglia. Prior experience in pharmacy includes a role as a Pharmacist at Boots UK from July 2010 to December 2012.
