Nathalie Garcia is an accomplished Office Manager and Events Coordinator at the Fund for the City of New York since September 2023, following a brief internship at the same organization in mid-2023. Garcia held the position of Senior Fellow at the University of Notre Dame Gender Relations Center from August 2022 to May 2023 and contributed to the Institute for Latino Studies as Student Staff from August 2021 to May 2023. Previous experience includes serving as a Research Assistant in the Psychology Department, gaining hands-on training in behavioral coding, and conducting interviews with Mexican-origin families. During a summer internship at the Library of Congress, Garcia authored an Afro-Latinx Bibliography research guide. Earlier research assistance at the Institute for Latino Studies involved supporting Professor Luis Fraga’s work on voting rights legislation. Nathalie Garcia earned a Bachelor of Arts in Neuroscience and Behavior, with a minor in Latino Studies, from the University of Notre Dame in 2023.
