Elizabeth Garcia

Elizabeth Garcia is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in project management and preclinical research. Currently serving as a Senior International Project Manager at Fundació Sant Joan de Déu since March 2020, Elizabeth has previously held key positions including Director of Preclinical Research at Neuroscience Technologies from 2018 to January 2019, and Preclinical Research Scientist at the same company from October 2009 to January 2018. Early in their career, Elizabeth worked as Investigador Asociado B at Centro de Investigación Médica Aplicada from September 2006 to August 2009 and as Assegnista di Ricerca at SISSA between 2002 and 2006. Elizabeth holds a PhD in Biomedical Sciences with a focus on Electrophysiology from Instituto de Fisiología Celular, UNAM, as well as a Master's degree in Artificial Neural Networks from División de Estudios de Postgrado de la Facultad de Ingeniería, and a degree in Computer Engineering from Facultad de Ingeniería, UNAM.
