Marta Marin Barba

Marta Marin Barba is an experienced professional in international research funding and scientific project management, currently serving as the Spanish CL1-Health & EIC Pathfinder/Transition National Contact Point at Fundación Española para la Ciencia y la Tecnología (FECYT) since October 2022. Previously, Marta held positions such as International Research Funding Officer at Instituto de Salud Carlos III and IdiPAZ, along with a Research Assistant role at Universitat de Barcelona. Marta completed a PhD in Developmental and Computational Biology at the University of East Anglia, focusing on cis-regulatory elements in Xenopus and planarians, and has a Master's degree in Genetics and Developmental Biology from Universitat de Barcelona. Additional educational qualifications include a Master's in Project Management in the pharmaceutical industry and a diploma in Research and Development Management.
