María Odériz Sánchez

María Odériz Sánchez is currently a La Caixa Fellow at Fundación "la Caixa" since July 2023. Previous experience includes roles such as Creative Cities Network at UNESCO and Exhibition Mediator at Thanks for Nothing, both in 2024. María also served as Ambassadrice Maison des Arts et de la Création at Sciences Po from September 2023 to February 2024 and worked as a researcher for Asociación Patrimonio para Jóvenes. From July 2021 to December 2022, María contributed to the development of creativity programs at Fundación Botín. Other noteworthy positions include Gallery Assistant at the Oriental Institute in Chicago and various leadership roles at the Barcelona Debating Society. María holds a Master’s degree in Public Policy with a focus on cultural policy and management from Sciences Po and has completed studies in Anthropology of Heritage at Ecole Du Louvre, as well as earning a Bachelor of Arts in International/Global Studies from the University of Chicago.
