Elena Biurrun Sainz de Rozas

Elena Biurrun Sainz de Rozas is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in public service and non-profit management. Currently serving as Directora General at Fundación Manantial since March 2022, Elena leads initiatives focused on comprehensive support for individuals with mental health challenges and promotes social and labor inclusion. Prior to this role, Elena held significant positions such as Directora de Programas de Protección Internacional y Ayuda Humanitaria and Directora de Gabinete at the Ministerio de Inclusión, Seguridad Social y Migraciones. From 2007 to 2019, Elena was Alcaldesa of Torrelodones, after founding and presiding over Vecinos por Torrelodones. Early career milestones include roles at Roos Film and Anguiano & Asociados, where expertise was developed in script assistance and legal advising, respectively. Elena holds a Master in Informática y Derecho and has completed a leadership program at IESE Business School.
