Carmen Gloria Larenas

Carmen Gloria Larenas serves as the General Director of the Teatro Municipal de Santiago since October 2019. Previously, Larenas held the position of Artistic Director at Teatro del Lago from February 2016 to November 2021, overseeing artistic content management and educational initiatives. Larenas has extensive experience in various roles, including Artistic Programming and Communications Manager at Teatro del Lago, General Manager at Corporación Cultural de Lo Barnechea, and Press Chief at Teatro Municipal de Santiago. Furthermore, Carmen Gloria Larenas was a professional classical dancer with Ballet de Santiago from 1983 to 1992. Educationally, Larenas holds a degree in Communications and Journalism from Universidad Nacional Andrés Bello and a diploma in European Art History from Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez.
