Blanca Rodríguez-Fernández is a Visiting Research Scientist at Erasmus MC and the Centre for Genomic Regulation (CRG), specializing in Epidemiology and Computational Biology, respectively. Additionally, Blanca serves as a Bioinformatics teacher for the MSc in Omics Data Analysis at Universitat de Vic – Universitat Central de Catalunya. As a PhD Candidate at the BarcelonaBeta Brain Research Center, Blanca has been involved in bioinformatics research since January 2020. Early career experience includes an internship at the Instituto de Biomedicina de Sevilla, focusing on brain blood vessel abnormalities in Alzheimer's disease. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Basic and Experimental Biomedicine from Universidad de Sevilla, a Master's degree in Omics Data Analysis from Universitat de Vic – Universitat Central de Catalunya, and ongoing doctoral studies at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona.
