Laura García González

Postdoctoral Researcher at BarcelonaBeta Brain Research Center at Fundación Pasqual Maragall

Laura García González has a diverse range of work experience in research and academia. Laura is currently working as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Fundación Pasqual Maragall, specifically at the BarcelonaBeta Brain Research Center, since July 2021. Prior to this, they were a Postdoctoral Researcher at CEA from October 2020 to April 2021. Laura also gained valuable experience as a PhD student in Neurosciences at the Institute of NeuroPhysiopathology (INP) from February 2016 to March 2020. In addition, Laura worked as a Research Scholar at the Salk Institute for Biological Studies in August 2016. Laura completed their Master's in Biology and Cancer Clinic at the Centro de Investigación del Cáncer (IBMCC-FICUS) between 2014 and 2015.

Laura García González began their education in 2010 at Universidad de León, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology. Laura completed this program in 2014. Following their undergraduate studies, Laura enrolled in Universidad de Salamanca and obtained a Master's degree in Biology and Clinical Cancer from 2014 to 2015. In 2016, they commenced their doctoral studies in Neurosciences at Aix-Marseille University and successfully obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in 2020.
