Ewa Magnucka-Bowkiewicz has extensive experience in various roles within the sales and marketing field. Ewa has been the President of Fundacja DKMS since June 2013. Prior to this, they worked as an Interim Expert within the FMCG sector, specifically in sales and marketing, from January 2011 to May 2013 as a self-employed individual. From January to November 2010, they served as the Sales and Marketing Director at Nestle Waters. Before that, they held multiple positions at Nestle, including Country Business Manager Infant Nutrition, Poland, and Chief Integration Officer Eastern Europe from January 2006 to September 2008. Ewa also worked as a National Key Account Manager and International Sales Coordinator for Zone Europe from October 2000 to December 2005. Additionally, they have experience as a Marketing Manager for various departments within Nestle, such as Food Services and Beverages. Ewa began their career at Avon, where they worked as a Marketing Manager for Central and Eastern Europe and the UK in 1995. Ewa also has experience at Kraft Jacobs Suchard, where they held multiple roles as a Brand Manager and Senior Brand Manager for Soluble Coffee.
Ewa Magnucka-Bowkiewicz earned their Master's degree in Foreign Trade from SGH Warsaw School of Economics between 1985 and 1991.

Naszą misją jest znalezienie Dawcy dla każdego Pacjenta na świecie potrzebującego przeszczepienia komórek macierzystych szpiku. Fundacja DKMS działa w Polsce od 2008 roku jako niezależna organizacja non-profit. Posiada status Organizacji Pożytku Publicznego oraz Ośrodka Dawców Szpiku w oparciu o decyzję Ministra Zdrowia. W ciągu ponad 14 lat Fundacja zarejestrowała w Polsce ponad 1 800 000 potencjalnych Dawców. W Polsce co 40 minut ktoś dowiaduje się, że ma białaczkę, czyli nowotwór krwi. Tę diagnozę słyszą rodzice małych dzieci, młodzież, dorośli. Bez względu na wiek – każdy może zachorować. Na szczęście każdy może też pomóc. Dla wielu chorych jedyną szansą na życie jest przeszczepienie szpiku lub komórek macierzystych od niespokrewnionego Dawcy. W ciągu ponad 14 lat działalności ponad 11 500 Dawców zarejestrowanych w Fundacji DKMS podarowało szansę na życie Pacjentom potrzebującym przeszczepienia.
