Forest Young

Forest Young is an accomplished design professional with extensive experience spanning over two decades. Currently serving as the Executive Director of Design at FUNDAMENTALco since May 2024, Forest also contributes to Fast Company as a member of the Impact Council and holds the position of Senior Critic at Yale University. As the founder and Lead Design Officer of Young Studio, active since May 2000, Forest has demonstrated leadership in various roles including Global Head of Brand and Senior Director of Global Brand Design at Rivian, and Chief Creative Officer at Wolff Olins. Additional contributions include board membership at PlantLife, participation on the National Board of Directors for AIGA Design, and teaching as an adjunct professor at California College of the Arts. Educational qualifications include an MFA in Design from Yale University and a B.S. in Human Development from Cornell University.
