Ognjan Despot

Ognjan Despot is an experienced professional with a solid background in management and business development across various industries. Currently serving as the Director of Central and Eastern Europe at Funderbeam since July 2021, Ognjan has successfully raised 7 million Euros within a year while also managing recruitment and reporting. Prior to this, Ognjan held the position of General Manager at Maven Consulting Cyprus, overseeing operations in five Southeast European countries and successfully completing business takeovers valued at 55 million Euros while collecting debts worth 22 million Euros. Ognjan's previous roles include General Manager at KMAG, where operational costs were reduced by 1.8 million Euros, and Key Account Manager at Materia Medica, achieving a 28 percent sales increase. Additional experience includes roles at HEINEKEN and Atlantic Grupa, where Ognjan developed strong customer relations, managed logistics, and contributed to departmental budgeting and planning. Ognjan holds a Bachelor's degree in Entrepreneurship Economics from VERN' University.
