Caitlin Cella

Caitlin Cella is the current VP of Finance & Fund Operations at FundersClub. Caitlin has held this position for 7 years and 1 month, and prior to that, they were the Head of Finance & Fund Operations and the Fund Operations Manager. In their role, Caitlin oversees accounting, tax compliance, and fund operations for a number of early stage venture capital funds.

Before joining FundersClub, Caitlin worked as a Senior Tax Consultant/Acting Manager at Deloitte for 7 months. In this role, they managed a large private equity real estate engagement and oversaw a team of 25+. Caitlin also served as primary client contact on majority of engagements and created and taught a venture capital fund taxation training course to 3 different offices.

Prior to Deloitte, Caitlin worked at KPMG US (formerly Rothstein Kass) for 3 years as a Senior Tax Associate and Tax Associate. In this role, they provided tax services for partnerships, LLCs, C Corporations, S Corporations, and individuals. Caitlin also specialized in the venture capital, private equity, and real estate industries.

Before working in tax, Caitlin was a Service Representative at the St Vincent de Paul Society of San Francisco for 1 year.

Caitlin Cella has a Master's degree from the University of Southern California - Marshall School of Business and a Bachelor's degree from the University of California San Diego. Caitlin is also a Certified Public Accountant.
